Where machine learning meets structural biology: join us for a workshop at the University of Malta, at the frontier of research, to discuss new possibilities and challenges, and to shape the next generation of AI-driven tools to visualise biological structures and complexes!
The meeting will be held at the University of Malta, located in Msida, a few minutes away from Valletta, from the 13th to the 16th of May 2026.
The workshop will explore the boundaries of what is currently achievable - from modelling dynamic conformational states to handle nucleic acids to structure-based drug design - and how these developments impact structural biology on a global scale. A dedicated focus will be given to the implications for emerging and developing countries, to ensure that AI-driven structural biology advances as a globally inclusive science.
An effort will be made to unsure the meeting is affordable: registration fees are 180 Euros for students and 240 Euros for researchers. A number of low-cost companies fly to Malta, and there are various reasonably-priced hotels.
