The department wish to recruit two Research Fellows to study carbohydrate synthesis (lipid attachment), transport through membranes and polymerization in the Naismith laboratory.
Candidates must hold a PhD or be about to submit one.
Applicants must have demonstrated laboratory expertise (Industrial or Academic) in protein expression, purification and assay. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with membrane proteins.
The posts will be for 18 months in the first instance although funding is potentially available longer. The positions are open immediately.
