Instruct-ERIC is the single point of access to technology and expertise for structural biology research. Through its specialist research centres in Europe, Instruct-ERIC offers funded research visits, training, internships and R&D awards. By promoting integrative methods, Instruct-ERIC enables excellent science and technological development for the benefit of all life scientists.
Since Slovenia is currently exploring Instruct-ERIC membership, an open call is being launched to offer Slovenian researchers trial use of the structural biology services available through Instruct. Funding is from Instruct-ULTRA, Horizon2020 project #731005, with awards made to successful applicants following peer review.
Call Open: Monday 17 August
Closing Date: Wednesday 30 September
To apply for the call, there is a simple online proposal submission form, where you select your technology of choice and answer a short set of questions to form a proposal. Before applying there is a short step to register for an Instruct-ERIC account. The call closes on 30 September 2020, and all research work must be completed by 15 December 2020. Due to the short deadline, structural biology projects that have samples already prepared will be favoured. Apply now > >
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we advise that applications are submitted for technologies that may only be available remotely. For an up to date service status list, please consult instruct-eric.eu/service-status. Instruct-ERIC usually offers researchers the opportunity to visit its facilities to complete their research, however during the COVID-19 pandemic many Instruct Centres are making their services available remotely (ie samples are sent by courier for analysis by Centre staff, and all results and products are sent back to the researcher).
You are eligible to apply if you are a researcher who is working in Slovenia, either as a PhD student, postdoc or principle investigator at a national research institution or university.
