An NMR-based fragment screening service enables the identification and validation of small-molecule fragments that interact with biological targets such as proteins, RNA, or DNA. Using ligand- and/or target-observed NMR methods, fragment libraries, typically comprising small molecules with molecular weights of approximately 100 to 250 Daltons are screened for binding. Identified hits are subsequently confirmed and, where relevant, further characterized with respect to competition, binding affinity, or binding site. The resulting data provide validated fragment hits for subsequent structural studies and compound development.
