The McLeod lab at the University of Cincinnati is recruiting a postdoc and graduate students!
We use cutting-edge X-ray crystallography methods to study the protein dynamics of non-model systems. In particular, we have a novel benchtop time-resolved crystallography instrument (doi: 10.1107/S205225252500288X) to observe reactions in crystallo, and we use multi-temperature crystallography to characterize enzyme temperature dependence (doi: 10.1016/j.str.2025.02.013). There are also projects available to give you exposure to cryoEM, small-angle X-ray scattering, and enzyme kinetics. If you (or someone you know) are interested in expanding your structural biology toolkit, please let me know.
