Application deadline: 13 Mar 2024
The solid state dynamics group of the Laboratory of Neutron Scattering and Imaging is specialized in using inelastic neutron scattering to understand the microscopic interactions in quantum materials.
- As part of this group you will conduct an independent and ambitious research program using neutron scattering
- You will be co-responsible for the cold neutron multiplexing spectrometer CAMEA, thereby supporting the external user program, maintaining the performance and further developing the capabilities of the instrument
- You will be an integral part of further instrumentation and computational developments in the solid state dynamics group
- The acquisition of external funding will complement the internal budget for research and instrumentation projects
- You will coach junior and early career scientists
